Possibly the Most Original Band on Tooth and Nail

Basically, anytime Tooth and Nail Records signs a new artist, it's a big deal to me. Many of my favorite bands are from the label and all of our writers listen to a few bands from them. It's good stuff. They recently signed a band of people who prefer to remain anonymous that was formed from 'the wreckage of roughly 20 nameless and faceless Los Angeles bands." They're not saying who they are and preferring to let the music do the talking for now. The music has definitely got me hooked. You'll probably either love their style or hate it, because of its ingenuity, nods to the past and present, the vocalist's odd voice, and just plain oddness. Here's a music video to show you kind of what's up with the band and their music. Hope you enjoy, but for now, I'll just say that I think Showbread may no longer be the oddest band on tooth and nail.

You know a bunch of kids aged 12-16 are gunna think these guys are amazing just because of the image the singer presents in this video. So much for letting the music do the talking.

Still a pretty nice record nonetheless.

Like the music, like the video. Makes me think though, if Tooth and Nail can sign these guys then i'm no so far off getting a record deal with tooth and nail either.
