No, seriously, he really is. I watched Conan tonight to see Tom Waits perform (who did amazing) and I thought Conan's bits with the Chuck Norris clips and his interview with Snoop Dogg were pretty humorous, but I had no clue what I was in for once 1:35 A.M. rolled around. Carson Daly came out and oh boy he absolutely slayed me. He has this bit called shout outs where he shouted out to random celebrities and people including Dave Chappelle for his 6 hour long set, America for voting off Sanjaya, and Heather Mills for dancing with a prosthetic leg. What really got me was in the background there was this voice that would say hilarious things in the background like "Yeah, shout that one out!" or "Oh, that's a shout out." Some people might find that voice obnoxious and annoying, but they are fools for it was pure comedic genius. I hope someone puts this on YouTube soon!
A lot of people are out there who say that Carson Daly is an unfunny, crappy talk show host who is only getting a paycheck because he was extremely successful during the boy band craze eight years ago and someone signed him to a stupidly long contract. They'll also say that Lenin's preserved corpse would make a better host. These people are stupid because they are unaware that Carson Daly is truly ahead of our times and that his comedic brilliance will live on much longer than we shall. He's the best.
(EDIT: Carson Daly really does suck. I'm sorry if this caused any confusion.)
