It's 11:28 and I'm on my Lunch break at work. In my office, i have one window and it leads to a courtyard that looks like it hasn't been used in years. there is a brick-layered floor with a tree and bushes surrounding it. Yesterday it was snowing pretty hard and the ground was covered in the white stuff. When i looked out into the courtyard the ground was covered in snow, however towards the end of the day i looked out and notice that the snow wasn't covering the ground in the court yard. What ended up happening is that the wind that blows over the rooftop of the building, goes into the courtyard, and since it is trapped, it has a cyclone effect which blows the snow around and pushes it to the sides of the building.
It reminds me of how life is sometimes, there are some days when we are enclosed by walls with no way out and it start snowing hard on us. We're cold, alone, and struggling to find a way out. Then the hard wind blows and it starts throwing things around and it seems a lot worst then it was before, but after the wind has died down, there is a clearing. There is ground which you can see, and it gives you hope that your not standing over a pitfall but there is a foundation to hold you up. The same wind that was causing grief was the same wind that gave you hope.
It's weird little things like this that help me remember that sometimes things could be a lot worst then they really are.
