With this begins what will be a weekly review of that week's episode of 24.
Wow. Going into the sixth season premiere of 24 this Sunday night, the main question on my mind was "how can they top last year?" Well, let's see here. Setting off a nuclear bomb in Los Angeles is a heck of a start. After I watched Monday's conclusion, I sat on my couch just staring at the TV for another minute or two just in awe of what I'd seen. I, along with what I assume was the majority of the people watching, expected the father to jump and stop Numair from setting off the bomb or there be some miraculous circumstance where the bomb wouldn't go off. When it did, I was left in pure and utter shock. Other highlights or thoughts...
- I don't think that the Wallace family will really be used again and it really doesn't make a difference to me. I think they were used the same way the Huxley family was used last season, to create a subplot for the first few episodes then never to return.
- I will miss Jack's beard....
- The death of Curtis shocked me. I knew someone's gun was going off, but I still didn't expect it to end like that.
- Will the radiation reach Jack and if it does, would it be possible for him to be killed off? The producers and other actors keep saying him being killed off is a possibility, but I certainly don't see it happening.
- Is anyone else entirely excited for the return of Graham? Hardly anything is known about him except he was behind basically everything that happened in Day 5, but that's enough for me. Seeing him in the preview for next week made me even more pumped.

Curtis' death was a shock to me. I fully expected Curtis to be the one to shoot. I almost cried for Jack. LOL My husband making a comment about Jack's facial expression looking as if a nuclear bomb had gone off kind of took the shock out of the bomb scene...other than turning to my husband and saying, "you were RIGHT!" LOL If Jack dies... I will NOT watch the show any more ... if there is a show left TO watch without Jack. He IS the show, for me. Period. =) Oh and ... no beard for Jack. *shakes head* he is just so fine... nnno, no beard. :p
Peace.
